SQL 2008 R2 Licensing Changes

Microsoft is changing the licensing rules for SQL
to follow virtualization rules for other products like Windows Server, is gouing to divide the licensing creating also the following:
SQL server Standard per processor
SQL server Enterprise per processor, 4 Virtual instances allowed
SQL server Data Center per processor, unlimited virtual instances allowed
There will be step up option. L&SA clients will have tha ability ot upgrade.
Comment: Why to upgrade if owned a per processor license with unlimited capabilities to virtualization? This question is going to be hard to answer unless the difference of features is very compelling to move to SQL 2008 R2
