End of Downgrade Rights to XP on OEM licenses

Microsoft has announced to partners that teh Downgrade rights for OEM licenses that today allows Windows 7 users to downgrade to XP will end either after 180 days from the release of Windows 7 (September 1st) or when Microsoft releases Windows 7 Service Pack 1
This makes a strong case for companies and institutions to look at a deployment of a new OS. And since Widows Vista is not popular nad has higher requirements than Windows 7, most probably many companies are looking to upgrade to Windows 7.
The implications for companies that do not want to renew all hardware is that they will have to strongly consider an upgrade Volume Licensing option, like Enterprise Agreement, Open Value, Select etc…
Refresh or die,..
